INTERNSHIP DAY 1: SUCCESS!
I have already learned how to use the layout design program and designed one whole page practically by myself.
I also get to tag along on an assignment tomorrow.
I think this is going to be good for me.

I finally start my internship.
They already have a story idea they want me to work on, apparently.

About to spend the next chunk of my time reading in bed until I can fall asleep.

My Summer
…Looks like it will be filled with a new summer internship and studying for Praxis tests.
Getting up at 7 every morning, working 8 hour days, etc. etc. etc.
Not quite the laid-back schedule I was looking for, but it will be a really awesome learning/growth experience, I’m sure.
It appears it is finally time for growing up and adopting a big kid kind of life.

I'm surprised I'm not more exhausted than I am.
After I went to bed last night, I got woken up at 3 AM. Then I kept getting woken up until past 4 AM… until it turns out I couldn’t fall back asleep until about 5:30 this morning.
Pretty frustrating situation, but it’s a new day and I’m over it.
Amends have been made, and the situation is behind me. Life is still good.

This summer, so far...
It’s only been two days into summer for me, really.
And so far it’s been really productive, praise the Lord.
It would be far too easy to get stuck in a rutt of being lazy and wasting my days away doing whatever the heck I feel like, even if that something is nothing at all.
But I have learned over this past year that doing nothing is completely unfulfilling.
